Bij The Landrovers starten we een nieuw innovatief project waarmee we de Europese markt willen innoveren op het gebied van elektrische voertuigen.
Wie zijn we
Wij zijn een snelgroeiend bedrijf en gespecialiseerd in het restaureren en customizen van Land Rover Defenders tot in het kleinste detail. Denk aan lederen bekleding, krachtige V8-motoren, speciale velgen en geoptimaliseerde vering. We hebben met succes een elektrische Defender ontwikkeld, maar zijn altijd op zoek om de Defender naar een hoger niveau te tillen en daar kunnen we jouw hulp bij gebruiken.
We zijn op zoek naar
Een enthousiaste Engineering Intern die zich focust op knuckle- en hubontwikkeling, van concept tot prototype. Autonomous driving toepassingen maken onderdeel uit van het technische vraagstuk en bieden uitdaging en leerpotentieel.
- Je volgt een HBO- of WO-opleiding richting voertuigtechniek, werktuigbouwkunde, mechanical engineering of een vergelijkbare technische studie
- Passie voor auto’s, voertuigen en technologische innovatie
- Ervaring met CAD-software (bijv. Creo, NX, SolidWorks, CATIA) is een pré
- Je werkt gestructureerd, hebt oog voor detail en bent praktisch ingesteld
- Je vindt het leuk om ontwerpen fysiek te realiseren en te testen
Wat ga je doen?
Je werkt nauw samen met andere engineers en designers in een multidisciplinair team. Dit is een hands-on rol waarin je leert hoe een product van ontwerp naar realisatie gaat.
Als stagiair ga je onder andere:
- Conceptontwikkeling van knuckles en hubs
- CAD-ontwerp en technische uitwerking van componenten
- Prototyping en het bouwen van fysieke modellen
- Testen van onderdelen en analyseren van resultaten
- Meedenken en bijdragen aan technische oplossingen binnen het project
- Afhankelijk van jouw interesses en skills: ondersteuning bij andere engineering-taken binnen het project

At The Landrovers, we are launching a new innovative project aimed at advancing the European electric vehicle market.
Who we are
We are a rapidly growing company specializing in restoring and customizing Land Rover Defenders to the finest detail. Think leather upholstery, powerful V8 engines, special rims, and optimized suspension. We have successfully developed an electric Defender and are always striving to elevate the Defender to a higher level, and we need your help to achieve that.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Intern focused on knuckle and hub development, covering the full process from concept to prototype. Autonomous driving applications are part of the technical challenge and offer significant learning opportunities.
- You are currently enrolled in a HBO or university-level program in vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
- You have a strong passion for cars, vehicles, and technological innovation.
- Experience with CAD software (such as Creo, NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA) is considered an advantage.
- You work in a structured and detail-oriented manner and have a practical, hands-on mindset.
- You enjoy turning designs into physical prototypes and testing them in real-world conditions.
What will you do?
You will work closely with other engineers and designers in a multidisciplinary team. This is a hands-on role in which you will learn how a product moves from initial design to real-world implementation.
As an intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Concept development of knuckles and hubs
- CAD design and detailed technical development of components
- Prototyping and building physical models
- Testing components and analyzing results
- Contributing ideas and technical solutions within the project
- Supporting additional engineering tasks depending on your interests and skill set
