Bij The Landrovers bouwen we geen standaard Defenders. Achter iedere build zit een proces waarin tientallen leveranciers, specialisten en partners samenwerken. Als Chauffeur zorg jij ervoor dat alles op het juiste moment op de juiste plek is.

Je bent dagelijks onderweg naar externe partijen om onderdelen op te halen en af te leveren. Denk aan bodypanelen, chassis en andere grote componenten die niet via een reguliere pakketdienst vervoerd kunnen worden. Je rijdt door Nederland en regelmatig ook naar het buitenland. Het kan ook zijn dat je achter het stuur stapt van een complete Defender om deze naar een locatie te brengen.

Je bent één van de gezichten van The Landrovers. Daarom zoeken we iemand die representatief is, makkelijk contact maakt en zich overal op zijn gemak voelt; zowel in het contact met mensen als achter het stuur. Je rijdt beheerst en met vertrouwen en begrijpt dat zorgvuldigheid minstens zo belangrijk is als op tijd leveren. Geen dag is hetzelfde en juist die afwisseling geeft jou energie.

Over The Landrovers

The Landrovers is een innovatief snelgroeiend bedrijf en gespecialiseerd in de restauratie en customisatie van de Land Rover Defender. We bouwen de Defender helemaal vanaf het chassis weer op waarbij we de grenzen opzoeken van techniek en design. We zijn een jong en dynamisch team met een goede combinatie tussen een professionele en informele sfeer. Wij zijn een gedreven team dat elke auto zo mooi mogelijk bij de klant af wil leveren. Elke auto wordt naar de wensen van de klant vormgegeven, waardoor iedere Defender anders is en jouw werkdag nooit hetzelfde! Onze unieke Defenders rijden over de hele wereld rond. Zowel gemotoriseerd, met een dikke v8, als de ‘in-house’ ontwikkelde elektrische high performance Defender.

Mogelijkheden bij The Landrovers

Als Chauffeur ben je veel meer dan alleen onderweg. Je bent een belangrijke schakel binnen ons logistieke proces en zorgt ervoor dat onze builds zonder vertraging door kunnen gaan.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

• Ophalen en afleveren van onderdelen, chassis en bodypanelen bij leveranciers en partners.
• Vervoeren van grote of waardevolle onderdelen die niet via reguliere transporteurs verzonden kunnen worden.
• Ritten door Nederland en regelmatig ook naar het buitenland.
• Incidenteel vervoeren van complete Defenders.
• Zelf laden, zekeren, vervoeren en lossen van kostbare onderdelen.
• Onderweg contact onderhouden met leveranciers, partners en collega’s.
• Werken met onze bedrijfswagen en trailer.
• Ondersteunen van de werkplaats wanneer de transportplanning daar ruimte voor biedt.

Wij Zoeken

We zoeken iemand die graag onderweg is en energie krijgt van een afwisselende werkdag. Je bent zelfstandig, maar vindt het ook leuk om met verschillende mensen in contact te zijn. Je begrijpt dat je werkt met exclusieve voertuigen en kostbare onderdelen en gaat daar vanzelfsprekend zorgvuldig mee om.

Daarnaast:

• Je bent in het bezit van rijbewijs B. Rijbewijs BE is een pré of je bent bereid dit via ons te behalen.
• Een heftruckcertificaat is een pré. Heb je die nog niet? Dan ben je bereid deze via ons te behalen.
• Je voelt je comfortabel achter het stuur en hebt bij voorkeur ervaring als chauffeur, koerier, bezorger of met het rijden van grotere voertuigen of een trailer.
• Je bent praktisch ingesteld en steekt ook graag de handen uit de mouwen wanneer je niet onderweg bent.
• Je spreekt goed Engels. Nederlands is een pré.
• Je bent representatief en communiceert gemakkelijk met leveranciers, partners en collega’s.
• Je bent flexibel. Soms begint je werkdag vroeg of ben je juist wat later terug.

Driver

At The Landrovers, we don’t build standard Defenders. Every vehicle is the result of a complex process involving dozens of suppliers, specialists, and partners. As our Driver, you make sure everything arrives at the right place at the right time.

You’ll be on the road every day, collecting and delivering parts to external suppliers and partners. This includes body panels, chassis, and other large components that cannot be transported through regular parcel services. You’ll travel throughout the Netherlands and regularly across international borders. From time to time, you’ll also drive a fully built Defender to its next destination.

As one of the faces of The Landrovers, you’ll represent our company wherever you go. That’s why we’re looking for someone who is professional, approachable, and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people. Opportunities at The Landrovers

As a Driver, you’re much more than someone behind the wheel. You play a key role in our logistics process, ensuring our builds continue without delays.

Your responsibilities include:

• Collecting and delivering parts, chassis, and body panels to suppliers and partners.
• Transporting large or valuable components that cannot be shipped through regular freight services.
• Driving throughout the Netherlands and regularly to international destinations.
• Occasionally transporting complete Defender vehicles.
• Loading, securing, transporting, and unloading valuable parts with great care.
• Staying in contact with suppliers, partners, and colleagues while on the road.
• Driving our company vehicles and trailer.
• Supporting the workshop whenever the transport schedule allows.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being on the road and thrives on variety. You’re able to work independently, but also enjoy interacting with different people throughout the day. You understand that you’ll be handling exclusive vehicles and high-value components, and you naturally treat them with the utmost care.

In addition, you:

• Hold a valid Category B driver’s license. A Category BE license is a plus, or you’re willing to obtain it through us.
• Hold a forklift certificate, or are willing to obtain one through us.
• Feel confident behind the wheel and preferably have experience as a driver, courier, delivery driver, or operating larger vehicles and trailers.
• Have a practical, hands-on mindset and are happy to support the workshop when you’re not on the road.
• Speak English well. Dutch is considered a plus.
• Are professional, presentable, and communicate easily with suppliers, partners, and colleagues.
• Are flexible. Some days start early, while others may finish later than usual.
