The Landrovers Amsterdam is looking for the best car mechanics! We are a fast growing company and therefore we are immediately looking for several car mechanics to join our team.
The Landrovers is an innovative and fast growing company that is specialized in the restoration and customization of the iconic Land Rover Defender. We are a young and diverse team with a good combination between a professional and easy going vibe. We are an ambitious team with the urge to get the most out of every build and finish every project with a smiling customer. Every car is made by the wishes and needs of the customer, which results in that every day at The Landrovers is different! Our unique Defenders travel around the whole wide world. Currently only motorized, but will this change soon? We are working with a team of designers and engineers on the development of an electric high performance Defender. You can also be part of this so come join our team and start building the dream car of every customer.
We are looking for talented technicians to join our team. Are you a true specialist in building a complete drive train? Come join our team of specialists! This opportunity will come with training and guidance on our process of building the most unique Defenders out there. Your responsibility will be:
– Overhaul old diesel combustion engines, differentials, axles and transmissions
– Fit brand new Corvette crate engines like the LS3 and LT4
– Build the full drive train from scratch such as fit custom made exhausts systems, high performance suspensions and high performance racing brakes
– Development of custom parts
– Test drive our defenders to optimize the driving experience
– Experience in metalworking, like welding, bending and grinding is an advantage
– At least 3 years of working experience is required
