This spring, The Landrovers appear on the cover of the respected magazine VUE New Jersey. The cover brings together five of our custom-built Defenders in a carefully composed visual story. Inside the magazine, a six-page feature explores the background of our work and the origins of The Landrovers, marking the start of the spring edition of VUE NJ.

Under the title Restored. Reimagined. Iconic – The Return of the Classic Land Rover, the magazine reflects on the enduring appeal of the Defender. For many enthusiasts, the vehicle represents something distinctive: a warm blooded off-road icon that was never officially sold in the United States. When restored by hand and rebuilt with attention to detail, these vehicles continue to draw attention wherever they appear. A true collectors item.
The cover features five of our builds: Panterra Ibiza, Panterra Rica, Vesper, Panterra Strawberry Fields Forever and Main Beach. In the interview inside, owners Daniel van Oort, Frank Tijs and Peter Zeisser reflect on how it all began. They share the story of the first Defender that was sold twice on the same day, and how that moment gradually developed into a business.
Grown from adventure
They also speak about the role of adventure within the DNA of The Landrovers, and how the company continues to grow through the ideas and ambitions of its clients. As they explain, much of the process revolves around creating something that did not yet exist. In that sense, every project becomes a shared adventure between client and builder.
