The authoritative Quote Magazine published an article in its October 2025 issue about the four most exclusive car manufacturers in the Netherlands (and far beyond). Quote is the leading Dutch monthly magazine about business, money, careers, and high-networth individuals. Published by Hearst Magazines, Quote is often called “The Dutch Forbes.” The Landrovers are proudly included. Alongside us, you’ll also find Von Schmidt, Spyker, and Maturo Competition Cars.

Quote calls our workshop “a festival full of cheerfully decorated sheds and shipping containers,” and they’re absolutely right. This is where we – Frank Tijs, Daniël van Oort, and Peter Zeisser – build the most special and exclusive Defenders in the world, with a specialized team of craftsmen that now “needs thirteen hands to count.”

Our philosophy is beautifully reflected in the interview: “We do it absolutely fantastic, or we don’t do it at all.” It’s what made The Landrovers what we are today. “The place where we say yes to everything given challenge, drives our development.”
