With over 5 million views on social media in just two days, custom build Defender ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ has turned into a phenomenon that made everybody turn their heads. This is why Strawberry almost broke the internet.
Strawberry is an electrified bespoke design statement
“We knew we had created something really special,” says Daniel van Oort, co-owner of The Landrovers. “But we never expected the world to respond like this,” he laughs.
Meet our new bespoke build Strawberry: a one-of-a-kind Land Rover Defender 110 that combines a striking design with groundbreaking innovation. At its core is our in-house developed Panterra in-wheel electric drivetrain. This system transforms the Defender into a fully electric vehicle: modern, powerful, and sustainable, while staying true to its legendary character.
Strawberry makes an instant impression with its Sky Blue and Indian Red color scheme, carefully developed together in our dedicated process with our client. Our custom convertible sliding roof is finished with red exterior fabric to match the leather upholstery, while the inside is lined with authentic Harris Tweed. The Indian Red leather seats feature classic striping with white piping, combining the Defender heritage with a modern, luxurious feel. Throughout the vehicle, you’ll find bespoke details: from Strawberry logo’s and lettering on the hood to subtle touches inside the cabin.
Inside, the material contrasts add depth and richness: Harris Tweed door accents, brushed aluminum finishes, and teak wood details form an appealing mix of bespoke materials. Even the smallest elements were considered. Like body-colored seatbelts, red leather window trims, a custom Alcantara headliner, and even a hand-made custom fire extinguisher cover.
Strawberry isn’t just about looks, it’s also about innovation. We developed a custom Human Machine Interface (HMI) and a digital cluster to work seamlessly with the Panterra drivetrain. The same cluster will also be available for our future V8 builds. Inside, comfort is elevated with heated seats front and rear, electric windows and a unique Strawberry timepiece integrated into the dashboard.

On the outside, 20-inch Panterra Lion wheels, our reinterpretation of the classic Defender wheel design. Custom-engineered door hinges and teak wood door steps underline our commitment to detail and craftsmanship.
The Panterra Strawberry is more than a custom Defender it’s a glimpse of the future and an ultimate statement of our bold designers. It shows how electric innovation and bespoke craftsmanship can come together in a vehicle that is both sustainable and deeply personal.
Currently, Strawberry can be seen in Italy, near Venice, where it continues to draw attention far beyond the automotive world.
